Green Bay Packers Mid-Season Evaluation

At the start of the year, if you were like me, you didn’t expect the Packers to be 5-3. Not even 6-2, maybe 7-1, but I was hoping for an 8-0. Despite the Pack’s shortcomings, there is plenty to celebrate about, our 5-3 record has, against all odds, landed us at the TOP of the NFC North. That is, we are above the Bears, Lions, and Vikings (who are a slight laughing-stock at this moment to be tied with the historically-bad Lions).

Right now, our only concern as a squad is the plague of injuries to our Packer personnel. However, the best teams are able to improvise as the Green Bay team did at the Meadowlands last week. With injuries a major factor, you saw Aaron Rodgers hit Jennings much more often than normal, proving what the Packers are capable of doing when thrown a setback.

After a first-half setback, let us watch as the Packers continue to roll over the competition and improve their record throughout the second half. GO PACK!
